About the Winery

Nathalie Boyer and Alain Tourenne took over in 2008 this estate created in 1917 by Léonard Nebout, a hardware store owner by trade. They converted their 26 hectares of vines to organic, then biodynamic, producing Castillon, Saint-Émilion, and Bordeaux wines in all three colors. The estate is now run solely by Alain Tourenne. The limestone and clay terroir of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, combined with the Merlot-dominant plantings (complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc), give the wines their characteristic richness and elegance. The estate is known for its consistent quality and commitment to sustainable viticulture.
