About the Winery

Franck Santini took over the family property in 2006, established in 1850. Grandson of vigneron Louis Montemagni and négociant Toussaint Mathieu Santini, he benefited from 150 years of family experience to establish himself. His domaine now has 37 hectares in production, farmed organically (certified since 2009, conversion started in 2009). Located in Patrimonio, the finest wine appellation of Corsica, the estate produces wines from Niellucciu (the Corsican equivalent of Sangiovese) and Vermentino. The clay-limestone and schist soils of Patrimonio, combined with the Mediterranean climate and mountain influences, give the wines their distinctive character.
