Domaine de la Confrérie
37, rue Perraudin Cirey, 21340 Nolay, France
About the Winery
Since 1991, Christophe Pauchard has been established in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune at Cirey, above the village of Nolay. His 10-hectare vineyard has extended since 2005 to Meursault where the winemaker acquired a parcel. The estate produces wines from Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Meursault appellations, including both reds (Pinot Noir) and whites (Chardonnay). The verdant hillside location with alpine-like characteristics provides a cooler climate that gives the wines freshness and elegance. The estate's name 'Confrérie' refers to the wine brotherhood tradition of Burgundy.
“A 10-hectare estate in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune with parcels in Meursault, led by Christophe Pauchard since 1991.”
