About the Winery

Located in Verdigny, this estate regularly appears in the Guide's selections and extends its vineyard across the different terroirs of the Sancerrois. André and Arielle Vatan were joined in 2012 by their son Adrien on the estate. The domaine is a regular in wine guide selections, producing Sancerre Blanc from Sauvignon Blanc and Sancerre Rouge from Pinot Noir. The wines express the different soil types of the Sancerre region, from the Kimmeridgian marl to the limestone gravels, giving wines with distinctive minerality and freshness.
