Domaine Reverdy-Ducroux
About the Winery
The Reverdy-Ducroux estate is located in Verdigny, with vineyards stretching across different plots over 7 communes at the heart of the Sancerre vineyards. The Reverdy-Ducroux family has cultivated wines on the famous Sancerre hillsides for 14 generations. Alain and Laurent Reverdy (father and son) manage a 30-hectare vineyard and have developed wine tourism activities. The estate produces both white Sancerre from Sauvignon Blanc and red Sancerre from Pinot Noir, showcasing the region's distinctive terroirs including the famous 'terres blanches' (Kimmeridgian marl with limestone) and 'caillottes' (limestone gravel) soils.
