About the Winery
Pascale and Antoine Véron, daughter and son-in-law of Gilbert Lavigne, now run the family estate, which extends over 43 hectares in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation. The vineyard is planted predominantly with Cabernet Franc, the signature grape of the region, on the limestone and tuffeau soils that give Saumur-Champigny its distinctive character. The estate produces a range of red wines from different parcels, each expressing the nuances of the terroir, from lighter, fruit-forward wines to more structured cuvées with aging potential.
“A 43-hectare family estate in the heart of Saumur-Champigny, now run by Pascale and Antoine Véron, specializing in Cabernet Franc.”
