About the Winery

A native of Poligny, Michel Thibaut gained professional experience in various French vineyards before becoming a winemaker in the Jura in 1989. With his wife Catherine, he operates 10 hectares of vineyards in Côtes du Jura on the slopes of Poligny. Their eldest son Hubert joined them in 2018. The estate produces the full range of Jura wines including Savagnin, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Trousseau, showcasing the distinctive Jurassic marl and limestone terroir of the region. The wines reflect the traditional Jura style with oxidative and non-oxidative vinification methods.
