Domaine michel Juillot
About the Winery
Domaine Michel Juillot is an emblematic estate of the Côte Chalonnaise, founded by Louis Juillot, developed by his son Michel, and managed since the late 1990s by his grandson Laurent. The domaine covers 31 hectares primarily in Mercurey, with parcels in Côte de Beaune. The estate produces both red wines (Pinot Noir) and white wines (Chardonnay) across appellations including Mercurey, Mercurey 1er Cru, Bourgogne Rouge, and Bourgogne Blanc. The wines are vinified traditionally with fermentation in oak barrels and casks, and ageing in oak with controlled use of new wood. The estate has earned numerous medals and recognition for the quality of its wines, which showcase the distinctive terroir of Mercurey's clay-limestone soils.
“An iconic 31-hectare Mercurey estate spanning three generations, producing acclaimed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.”
