Domaine Cazes
About the Winery
Founded in 1895 by Michel Cazes in Rivesaltes, Domaine Cazes is one of the most important wine estates in Roussillon. The domaine now spans 220 hectares, entirely converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture since 2005 (certified). It produces wines across all Roussillon appellations including Côtes du Roussillon, Côtes du Roussillon Villages, Maury, Fitou, Muscat de Rivesaltes, and Rivesaltes. The estate also owns Domaine Les Clos de Paulilles (90 hectares) located in the Anse de Paulilles, between Collioure and Banyuls. In 2004, Lionel Lavail took over direction of the estate, and in 2009 created a new tasting space and restaurant 'La Table d'Aimé'. Domaine Cazes is a leader in Vin Doux Naturel production and is part of the Advini group since 2004. The domaine celebrated 20 years of biodynamic conversion in 2017.
