About the Winery

This 26-hectare estate has been managed since 1976 by Bruno Albert and was acquired in February 2015 by the Vagnon family, who entrusted its management to François and Virginie Prinsloo. The estate, also known as Domaine du Vieux Pressoir, is located near Le Puy-Notre-Dame in the Saumur region. It produces Saumur and Saumur-Puy-Notre-Dame reds from Cabernet Franc, as well as white wines from Chenin and Chardonnay, including sparkling wines. The terroir of the Saumurois provides the minerality desired for Saumur Blanc and sweet Coteaux-de-Saumur wines when the vintage permits. The estate offers cellar visits and tastings by appointment.
