About the Winery

Le Champ des Murailles is a Corbières-Boutenac estate acquired in 2012 by Pierre Bories, who is also known for Château Ollieux Romanis. The domaine was originally created by François des Ligneris, former owner of Château Soutard, Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion. Covering approximately 10 hectares on the western flank of the Pinada massif, the vineyard benefits from a cooler microclimate than Château Ollieux Romanis. The Bories family has been making wine in Corbières since 1896. The estate is conducted in organic agriculture, with vines worked in symbiosis with nature across 40 different parcels. In 2020, a new winery equipped with the latest technology was inaugurated. The estate produces wines from Carignan (with vines 50-100 years old), Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, and Marsanne. Pierre Bories' son Hippolyte is also involved in the estate's operations.

A 10-hectare Corbières-Boutenac estate acquired by Pierre Bories in 2012, known for organic viticulture and old Carignan vines up to 100 years old.
