Vignobles Parent
About the Winery
Catherine Péré-Vergé, a great figure of Pomerol who passed away in 2013, was the heiress of the Arques crystal works. She operated three Pomerol estates that she brought to the highest level: Montviel (acquired in 1985, spread over 17 parcels), Le Gay (1.68 hectares, well placed on the Pomerol plateau), and La Violette (1.68 hectares), plus La Gravière in Lalande-de-Pomerol. The entire portfolio is now managed by her son Henri Parent. With the complicity of oenologist Michel Rolland, the family also created Bodega Monteviejo in Argentina's Valle de Uco in the 1990s. The estates are known for their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality.
“A portfolio of prestigious Pomerol estates including Château Montviel, Le Gay, and La Violette, now managed by Henri Parent.”
