About the Winery

Jean-Jacques Béréziat, well known to readers of the Guide Hachette, took over in 1979 this domaine at the foot of Mont Brouilly. He has 9 hectares of vines, with a significant portion (6.3 hectares) on sand and alluvium that produce his Brouilly wines. The Brouilly appellation is the largest and most varied of the Beaujolais crus, known for producing fruity, approachable wines from the Gamay grape. The estate is part of the Béréziat family's broader winemaking operations in the Beaujolais region.

A 9-hectare estate at the foot of Mont Brouilly since 1979, producing Brouilly wines from sandy and alluvial soils.
