Domaine Schirmer

About the Winery

The Schirmer family has been established in Soultzmatt since the early 19th century, south of Colmar. After Lucien, who specialized the domaine in the 1970s, Thierry took over in 1991. He was joined in 2020 by his son Antoine. With 12 hectares of vines (including parcels in the Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru), the property is HVE certified. The estate produces all Alsace grape varieties: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Gewurztraminer, as well as Crémant d'Alsace and Vendanges Tardives.
