Earl Eblin-Fuchs
About the Winery
Established in Zellenberg, a small perched village neighboring Riquewihr, Christian Eblin is the heir to the alliance of two old winemaking lineages, one dating back to the 13th century. The family transitioned from reasoned agriculture to biodynamics in 1999, both for the health of vineyard workers and to offer authentic terroir wines. Today, Christian and his wife Laurence Leininger, also from a winemaking background, exploit approximately 12 hectares spread over six communes, with parcels in 4 Grand Crus. The estate produces a range of Alsace wines with a focus on expressing the unique character of each terroir.
“A biodynamic estate in Zellenberg since 1999, with 12 hectares across six communes and parcels in 4 Grand Crus, run by Christian Eblin and Laurence Leininger.”
