About the Winery

Claude Dietrich, son of winegrowers, began by renting vines and then acquired parcels on the famous Schlossberg Grand Cru. His domaine, with an interesting range of lieux-dits and Grand Crus, is spread over the communes of Kaysersberg, Sigolsheim, and Kientzheim, northwest of Colmar. The estate produces wines from Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, and other Alsace varieties. The Schlossberg Grand Cru is particularly known for its granite soils that give Riesling wines exceptional finesse and aging potential.
