About the Winery
Created in 1934 by Jean-Marie Thomas, this family estate has been managed since 1988 by his grandson Lucien, an active defender of the Saint-Véran appellation. The 20 hectares of vineyard surround the property in Prissé, a former fortified village in the Mâconnais. The estate produces Saint-Véran, Mâcon-Villages, and Mâcon-Prissé wines from Chardonnay. The wines express the clay-limestone terroir of the region with their characteristic freshness, minerality, and aging potential.
“A family estate created in 1934 in Prissé, with 20 hectares producing Saint-Véran and Mâcon wines from Chardonnay.”
