About the Winery
Former property of the Château de Fortis, the domaine entered the Bosson family in 1928. Alain succeeded his father Marcel in 1981 and now runs 9.5 hectares of vines on the hillsides of Chautagne, north of Lake Bourget in Savoie. The estate produces wines from local Savoyard grape varieties including Jacquère, Roussette (Altesse), and Pinot Noir. The Chautagne terroir benefits from the moderating influence of Lake Bourget, creating a favorable microclimate for viticulture. The wines are known for their freshness and minerality.
“A family estate since 1928 in the Chautagne region north of Lake Bourget, with 9.5 hectares producing Savoyard wines.”
