About the Winery
Resulting from the merger of three cooperative cellars, this cooperative bears the name of Arnaud de Villeneuve, the inventor of fortified sweet wines (vins doux naturels). It brings together 320 winegrowers from Salses, Rivesaltes, and Pézilla-la-Rivière, who cultivate approximately 1,600 hectares of vines (including 125 hectares organic) spread across 26 communes and varied terroirs. The cooperative has a vinification capacity of 67,530 hectoliters and storage capacity of 148,100 hectoliters. It produces a wide range of wines including Rivesaltes, Muscat de Rivesaltes, Maury, and Pays d'Oc wines.
