About the Winery

Perpetuating a winemaking tradition dating back to 1288, the Domaine Ray-Jane has been passed down from father to son for over 700 years. Today, Alain Constant runs the 40-hectare estate, joined by his sons Julien and Vincent. A third of the vineyard consists of century-old vines. The estate has been certified organic since 2009 and practices traditional viticulture: no weedkillers or systemic treatments, plowing with a plow, and hand-harvesting in respect of nature and ancestral know-how. Alain Constant has also built an exceptional collection of cooper's and winegrower's tools, creating an eco-museum with over 30 pieces open to visitors by reservation.
