About the Winery
One of the last domains created in Reuilly. In 2004, Jean-Pierre Ponroy, a cereal farmer, convinced by his son Romain, began the adventure by renting vines. Since then, father and son have expanded their domaine through their own plantings (5.5 hectares on marl limestone hillsides and high terraces of sand and gravel) and now sell their wines directly. The Reuilly appellation in the Loire Valley is known for Sauvignon Blanc white wines and Pinot Noir Roses and reds. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and produces wines that express the unique terroir of the Cher region.
“A father-son estate created in 2004 in Reuilly, with 5.5 hectares on marl limestone hillsides producing Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wines.”
