Domaine olivier Foucher
About the Winery
Olivier Foucher followed a classic professional path: studies in viticulture and oenology, several years working with his parents, and then taking over the family domaine upon his father's retirement in 2011. He now runs 10.5 hectares with his wife. The estate produces wines from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé appellations, including white wines from Sauvignon Blanc on silex and clay-limestone soils, as well as Pinot Noir Roses and reds. The estate is certified High Environmental Value (HVE). The wines are known for their citrus, floral, and mineral character, expressing the unique terroir of the Sancerre region.
“A 10.5-hectare estate in Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois producing Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé wines, HVE certified.”
