Domaine françoise André
About the Winery
Domaine Françoise André is a 10.7-hectare estate certified organic since 2012, created in 1983 by Françoise and Michel André. It is one of the last estates to have its cellars behind the walls of Beaune. The domaine was previously managed by the Comte Sénard, and since 2009, Lauriane André (daughter-in-law of the founder) has been in charge, supported by her estate manager Jérôme Després. The estate acquired exceptional holdings in cooler sites on the upper slopes of Corton, including Corton-Charlemagne (west-facing) and Corton Renardes (east-facing). The domaine produces wines from Pernand-Vergelesses, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, and Corton Grand Cru. The Andres transitioned to biodynamic farming in the mid-1990s and were the first in Burgundy to bottle Chorey-lès-Beaune blanc.
“A certified organic estate since 2012 behind the walls of Beaune, with exceptional holdings in Corton-Charlemagne and Corton Renardes Grand Crus.”
