About the Winery

Stéphane Batlle created this domaine in 1998, which now extends over 18 hectares in the Aspres, south of Perpignan in Roussillon. After entrusting his grapes to the cooperative until that date, he decided to vinify his own wines and installed his cellars in an old flour mill ('meunerie'), hence the name of the property. The first vintages under this label were released in 2014. A self-taught winemaker with an atypical career path, Stéphane first worked in construction, renovating old buildings, before pursuing agricultural studies. An internship in Burgundy inspired him to become a winemaker. The estate is entirely converted to organic farming and produces wines from Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Grenache noir, Roussanne, Vermentino, Chardonnay, and Grenache gris.

An 18-hectare estate in the Aspres created in 1998 by self-taught winemaker Stéphane Batlle, vinified in a restored old flour mill, certified organic.
