About the Winery

The family domaine dates back to the French Revolution. In 1992, Christine Dupuy, a young oenologist, took over the estate at just 23 years of age, becoming the youngest winemaker in the Madiran appellation. She expanded the estate from 6 to 23 hectares and established herself as one of the leading producers in the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations. Her treasure is 50 ares of pre-phylloxera Tannat vines dating from the 1870s. The vineyard has been certified organic since 2014. Christine produces wines on gently rolling hillsides of heavy yellow clay with pebbles and limestone. She is known for producing balanced, pure-fruited wines in a region where heavily oaked wines are common.

A 23-hectare family estate since the French Revolution, now certified organic, with rare pre-phylloxera Tannat vines from the 1870s.
