About the Winery

Maison Darragon is a family estate of 40 hectares in the Vouvray appellation, now in its ninth generation. Christelle Darragon and her husband David Charbonnier took over in 2004. Committed to quality and the environment, they practice reasoned agriculture and have built a modern, rational winery. The wines are aged in troglodyte cellars carved into the tuffeau limestone, a characteristic feature of the Vouvray region. The estate produces white wines from Chenin Blanc, the signature grape of Vouvray, ranging from dry to sweet styles, as well as sparkling wines using the traditional method.

A ninth-generation family estate in Vouvray, with 40 hectares producing Chenin Blanc wines aged in troglodyte cellars.
