About the Winery

Château Petit Bouquey is a family property for four generations, created by Eric Bordron's great-grandfather in the early 1900s and enlarged over the years. The estate covers 4.83 hectares on gravelly, clay, and sandy soils in the Saint-Émilion appellation. The wines are aged in oak barrels (30% new) and the annual production averages 16,000 bottles. Since 2020, the estate has been in organic conversion. The wines are characterized by manual harvesting and vinification in stainless steel tanks. Eric and Sandrine Bordron produce Saint-Émilion and Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines from Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), and Cabernet Franc (15%). The estate offers vineyard visits and tastings by appointment.
