About the Winery

Neighbor of the confluence of the Loire and the Thouet, Domaine de la Guilloterie benefits from very favorable climatic conditions. Regularly selected in Saumur-Champigny or Saumur, it has been managed since 1987 by the third generation with brothers Patrice and Philippe Duveau. The domaine spreads over 50 hectares of limestone-clay soils with subsoil called 'tuffeau' that makes this area extremely propitious for the cultivation and maturation of Cabernet Franc. The estate produces Crémant de Loire, Saumur Blanc, Saumur Rose, and Saumur-Champigny wines.
