Domaine Rotier
About the Winery
Alain Rotier and Francis Marre, brothers-in-law, share the work: Francis handles the vineyards and Alain the winemaking. The 32-hectare property, founded in 1985, is today one of the pillars of the Gaillac vineyard, notably for its sweet wines that collect stars and coups de cœur from the Guide. The vineyard, which highlights Duras (for reds) and Len de l'El (for whites), has been certified organic since 2012. The estate produces AOC Gaillac red, white, Rose, sweet, and sparkling wines, with indigenous grape varieties taking pride of place.
“A 32-hectare organic Gaillac estate founded in 1985, renowned for sweet wines and indigenous varieties Duras and Len de l'El, managed by Alain Rotier and Francis Marre.”
