Domaine du Moulié

395, chem. du Moulié-Cannet, 32400 Riscle, France

About the Winery

In Gascon, 'moulié' means 'mill' and 'miller'. The estate dates back to the 18th century. In the family since 1920, it borders the old path leading to the village mill on the Bergons, a small tributary of the Adour. Sisters Lucie (at the cellar) and Michèle (in the vineyard) manage a 16-hectare vineyard according to environmentally respectful practices (organic for the Pacherenc grape varieties). The estate produces Madiran and Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh wines, with the organic Pacherenc made from Petit Manseng, Arrufiac, and Petit Courbu.

An 18th-century Gascon estate managed by sisters Lucie and Michèle Charrier with 16 hectares of organic Pacherenc and environmentally respectful Madiran.
