About the Winery
Formerly Château le Chec, this 8.5-hectare cru took the name of its producer, Christian Auney, with the 2011 vintage, who established the vineyard from 1987. Like many domaines in the northern Graves, it faces the expansion of the Bordeaux metropolis. The estate is in organic conversion. Christian Auney produces red wines from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc on the gravelly soils of the Graves appellation.
“An 8.5-hectare Graves estate formerly known as Château le Chec, now under Christian Auney since 1987, in organic conversion.”
