About the Winery
Established in Blienschwiller, a small wine village south of Barr, the Kientz family traces their genealogy back to 1500. André Kientz, installed in 1985, was joined by his daughter Émeline in 2007. The family conducts their vineyard using lutte raisonnée (reasoned struggle). Their flagship: vines in the Grand Cru Winzenberg. The domaine produces Alsace AOC wines including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir, as well as Crémant d'Alsace.
