About the Winery
The Château de la Bonnelière (16th century) has been in the family since 1846. The vineyard was replanted in 1976 by Pierre Plouzeau. His son Marc took over in 2002 the reins of the 28-hectare domaine which he manages in organic agriculture. A safe bet of the Chinonais viticultural landscape, the estate produces Chinon wines including red, Rose, and white expressions from Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc grapes.
