Domaine Fontavin

About the Winery

Located north of Courthézon, this 45-hectare family estate is spread across eight communes and five appellations. It has been managed since 1998 by Hélène Chouvet, an oenologist, who converted the vineyard to organic agriculture in 2008. Seven generations have shaped the Domaine Fontavin. The estate produces Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, and Côtes du Rhône wines. Hélène Chouvet Coton now continues the family heritage with three women elevating the wines in the cellar with style and conscience.
