Domaine Arlaud Père et Fils
About the Winery
This very regular family estate in quality, often recognized notably for its grands crus, is managed by Hervé Arlaud, installed in 1982 following his father, and by his three children: Cyprien vinifies, Bertille plows with a draft horse, and Romain takes care of the vines. The 15-hectare vineyard has been certified organic since 2010, complemented by a négoce activity in 2012. The estate became the first in Morey-Saint-Denis to receive biodynamic certification with the Biodyvin label in 2014. The domaine cultivates 19 appellations including four exceptional Grand Crus: Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Charmes-Chambertin, and Bonnes Mares. All Premier Cru and Grand Cru vines are hand-braided, and five hectares are plowed by horse.
“A benchmark organic and biodynamic estate in Morey-Saint-Denis with 15 hectares including four Grand Crus, certified biodynamic since 2014.”
