About the Winery

Charles Gonnet, an agricultural engineer by training, took over the family estate in 1989, which now extends over 14 hectares of vines. This constantly progressing domaine, often recognized for its white wines (Chignin, Roussette), has not hesitated to evolve its practices to allow the grape to express its full potential. In 2018, the estate was taken over by the Domaine du Château de la Violette. Located in Chignin in the Savoie region, the estate benefits from the exceptional alpine terroir and produces wines that showcase the unique character of native Savoyard grape varieties.
