About the Winery

La Vallée de Cousse is a valley in the Vouvray vineyard where vines have thrived for a long time thanks to its very favorable microclimate. Pierre Champion, assisted by his wife Béatrice, heads a 14-hectare vineyard. Installed since 1992, he represents the fourth generation of this family domaine. Pierre produces exclusively white wines from the Chenin Blanc grape (also called Pineau de la Loire), including sec, demi-sec, moelleux, and sparkling 'Fines Bulles' wines. His wines have been recognized by the Guide Hachette, including a 'Coup de cœur' three stars for his Vouvray demi-sec.
