About the Winery

A family treasure that has been cultivating vines for over four centuries. Located in Katzenthal, on the legendary Alsace Wine Route, this 7.5 hectare estate tells a story that began in 1598. At the entrance to the cellar, a family tree proudly bears witness to this tradition, where each generation, from winemaker to cooper, has passed on its love of wine. Today, independent winemaker Yves Spannagel, accompanied by his wife Claudine and their children Marie and Jérôme, carries on this tradition with the same passion. The estate produces Alsace AOC, Alsace Grands Crus AOC, and Crémant d'Alsace AOC wines, including selections from Grand Cru Kaefferkopf and Wineck-Schlossberg.
