Domaine Heimbourger

About the Winery

Domaine Heimbourger is a family estate in Saint-Cyr-les-Colons, in the Burgundy region, that has been cultivating vines for three generations. The estate is currently managed by Olivier Heimbourger, who took over in 1994. The domaine spans 17 hectares of vines across several appellations including Chablis, Irancy, and Bourgogne. The vineyard planting consists of 50% Chardonnay for Chablis and Bourgogne Blanc, 40% Pinot Noir for Bourgogne Rouge and Irancy, 5% Gamay combined with Pinot Noir for Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, and 5% César, an old Burgundian grape variety used in Irancy. The estate also operates 180 hectares of cereals. The family practices sustainable viticulture and produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually. The wines are known for their typicity and authentic expression of each appellation.
