About the Winery

Domaine Armand Hurst is a historic family estate in Turckheim, Alsace, with family roots in the village dating back to the 17th century. The domaine was developed from 1926 through the acquisition of parcels, notably on the prestigious Grand Cru Brand. In 1989, Armand Hurst and his wife Nicole took over the estate, building a new cellar while preserving the historic centenary oak foudres. In 2016, Marc Rinaldi, a passionate collector of Alsace Grands Crus, invested in the domaine to ensure its continuity. Since then, a dynamic team has joined, converting the entire 12-hectare vineyard to biodynamic farming. The estate was certified Demeter in 2019 and Biodyvin in 2021. More than 7 hectares are on the Grand Cru Brand, with 80% of vines on hillsides, many over 40 years old. The estate produces wines from all Alsace grape varieties, with a focus on expressing the unique terroir of each parcel.

A historic estate in Turckheim since 1926, with 12 hectares including 7 hectares on the Grand Cru Brand, certified biodynamic (Demeter 2019, Biodyvin 2021).
