Domaine Piétri-Géraud
About the Winery
Domaine Piétri-Géraud is a family estate in Collioure, in the Roussillon region of southern France, near the Spanish border. Collioure is a picturesque village on the Mediterranean coast, known for its stunning beauty and distinctive wines. The estate produces wines under the Collioure and Banyuls appellations, specializing in both dry wines and fortified sweet wines (vin doux naturel). The vineyards are planted on steep schist terraces overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, producing wines of great concentration and character. The red wines are made from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, while the white wines feature Grenache Blanc and Grenache Gris. The Banyuls wines are fortified sweet wines similar to Port, made primarily from Grenache.
