About the Winery
The Domaine de Rombeau is a historic estate in Rivesaltes, in the Roussillon region of southern France, with family roots dating back to 1263. Pierre-Henri de la Fabrègue managed the estate for over 30 years until his passing in 2020, transforming it into a renowned destination combining a vineyard, a celebrated restaurant of Catalan cuisine, and a wine tourism venue. The estate produces wines under the Rivesaltes, Muscat de Rivesaltes, and Côtes du Roussillon appellations, specializing in traditional fortified sweet wines (vin doux naturel) that are characteristic of the region. The family has been passionate about the terroir for six generations, with the younger generation now taking over to continue the legacy. The estate also features a well-known restaurant and hosts over 300 weddings annually.
