About the Winery

Domaine de la Chevalerie is a family estate in Restigné, in the Bourgueil appellation of the Loire Valley. The estate has been passed down through generations of the Caslot family, with the current generation continuing the family tradition of producing wines from Cabernet Franc. The domaine's vineyards are planted on the characteristic tuffeau limestone and clay soils of Bourgueil, producing wines with excellent aging potential. The estate produces a range of wines from fresh, approachable reds to more structured cuvées for long aging, all expressing the unique terroir of Bourgueil.
