About the Winery
Château Bellevue La Forêt is located in Fronton, between Toulouse and Montauban, in an appellation with over 2,000 years of wine history. The region was the first to plant vines in Roman Gaul. The estate is planted with Négrette (the emblematic grape of Fronton), Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay, Cinsault, Mauzac, Sauvignon, and Colombard. The property is situated on a clay-limestone hill, an excellent terroir for viticulture. The wines of Fronton are known for their distinctive character, with Négrette producing fruity, aromatic wines with silky tannins.
“An estate in Fronton, the first wine-growing region of Roman Gaul, producing wines from the emblematic Négrette grape on clay-limestone hills.”
