Château Barréjat is located in Beaumont-sur-Gers, in the Madiran appellation of Gascony, south-west France. The estate is perched on a hillside with exceptional terroir. The domaine produces wines under the Madiran, Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh, and Côtes de Gascogne appellations. The vineyard is planted primarily with Tannat (the signature grape of Madiran), as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Gros Manseng, and Petit Manseng. The wines of Madiran are known for their powerful structure and aging potential, particularly those made from Tannat.
