Fruitière vinicole de Voiteur
About the Winery
The Fruitière Vinicole de Voiteur is a cooperative winery (fruitière) created in 1957, located at the foot of Château-Chalon, one of the most beautiful villages in France. The cooperative brings together 55-70 member winegrowers cultivating approximately 75 hectares of vines. The name 'fruitière' refers to the cooperative spirit of sharing the fruit of their labor. The cooperative produces the full range of Jura wines including Côtes du Jura, Vin Jaune, Château-Chalon, Vin de Paille, Crémant du Jura, and Macvin. Their renovated tasting cellar offers a panoramic view of Château-Chalon and the surrounding vineyards. They also produce a small range of organic wines.
