About the Winery

Champagne Richomme is a family champagne house in Cramant, in the Côte des Blancs. In 1951, Moïse Richomme and his father Jules, a winegrower and basket maker, began making champagne and launched their brand. Franck, the grandson of Moïse, took over the estate in 1998. The vineyard is spread across the best terroirs of the Champagne region, including Cramant, Chouilly, Oiry, and Avize (Grand Cru), as well as Barbonne-Fayel in the Sézannais, all planted with Chardonnay. The vines have an average age of over 40 years, producing grapes of exceptional maturity. The house has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and produces exclusively Blanc de Blancs champagnes. They also produce honey from hives installed near their vines.
