The Gaec Frédéric Engel et Fils is a family wine domaine in Riquewihr, Alsace, created in 1960 by Frédéric Engel. The vineyard covers 8 hectares, and the estate is located near the historic ramparts of Riquewihr, one of the most beautiful villages on the Alsace Wine Route. Yvan and Alain Engel, sons of Frédéric, took over the reins of the property in 1994, continuing the family tradition of winemaking. The domaine produces typical Alsace wines from the region's traditional grape varieties.
