About the Winery

Champ Divin is a Jura estate founded in 2008 by Fabrice and Valérie Closset, both Belgian-born engineers who worked as agricultural advisors before settling in the Jura. They converted their 7-hectare estate to organic farming (Ecocert certified since 2010) and biodynamics (Demeter certified since 2011). The vineyard grows Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Savagnin, and Trousseau on clay-limestone soils at the foot of the Jura's 'premier plateau.' The estate also maintains orchards and beehives for ecological diversity.
