About the Winery
Located in Wettolsheim at the gates of Colmar, sisters Amélie and Cécile Buecher (7th generation) took over the family vineyard in 2009, renaming it Vignoble des Deux Lunes to reflect their organic and biodynamic approach. Their 14-hectare estate has been certified biodynamic by Demeter since 2007. The name refers to working in harmony with nature's rhythms. The estate produces Alsace wines across all seven grape varieties, Crémant d'Alsace, and Grand Cru wines, with horse-plowing and hand-harvesting as standard practice.
“A 14-hectare biodynamic estate (Demeter certified) led by two sisters, the 7th generation of winemakers.”
